I’ve spent my entire career in the hospitality and food and beverage industries – a career that spans more than 35 years – and frankly, I can’t imagine another profession for which I’m better suited. The art of making guests feel welcomed and entertained has served as an overarching guidepost throughout my life.
Growing up on the North Shore of New England, I had the privilege of working for numerous acclaimed chefs, restaurateurs and privately-held boutique resort hotels. I honed my skills in high-end catering, serving luxurious dining along the New England coast— valuable work that helped me understand the role that white-glove level service played in elevating the customer experience. With this service-oriented foundation and passion in place, I attended Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I., earning degrees in Culinary Arts and Hotel Management.
As I embarked on what has become a life-long career in hospitality, I was able to refine my craft working with renowned hotel brands and operators, learning valuable lessons that I carry with me to this day. I held positions with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Shula’s Steak House, as well as the South Hampton Beach Resort Bermuda. I also held various positions with Davidson Hotels & Resorts over a 12-year tenure, where I directed the resort’s event and customer dining experiences, food & beverage concept development, and amenity programming.
When I was approached by The Connell Company, I immediately gravitated to their vision for The Park—to reimagine the 185-acre campus into a thriving, hospitality-driven ecosystem centered around the aspiration of promoting a true focus on work/life balance. All the elements we’re implementing at The Park and Round Table Studios are filtered through the lens of creating an amenity-rich environment which provides the catalyst for human interaction, connection and collaboration. As such, we’ve tirelessly worked to design and develop new concepts, assembling expert teams to provide unparalleled culinary, health and wellness, and work experiences.
Hospitality is a hallmark of Round Table Studios and serves as the connective fabric that’s woven throughout the tapestry of The Park. With a career spent perfecting the granular details of providing client-focused, elevated service, I’ve worked to ensure The Park’s highly curated environment becomes a one-of-kind destination and a model for emulation — a work/life balanced campus that is simply unrivaled throughout all of New Jersey.
